How to Automatically Create Clients from Lead Source Emails
When a source sends you a lead email, you can easily use that email to create a client in Senior Place without having to manually copy the client’s information. Here’s how to get this set up:
How to Create a New Source
Note: You must be an account administrator to create new lead source profiles.
1) Navigate to Agency settings > Lead Sources
- Navigate to the profile menu
- Click Agency settings
- Choose Lead Sources
- Select + Add lead source
2) Create Your Source
- Input the name of your source
- Select the status you'd like new clients for this source to be
- Choose your referral source. The referral source you select will automatically be assigned to every client forwarded to this source’s email address.
- Choose the users you'd like these new clients assigned to
- Select the users you'd like to be notified when a new client is created from this source
- Click Save
3) Forward Emails from Your Source to Senior Place
To use this new source and have clients automatically created in Senior Place, forward the referral email to the intake email address copied in your source’s profile by clicking Copy to clipboard.
This can be tested manually by forwarding a recent client from your source to that email address. Once you’ve tested it, you’ll be able to automate this process using one of the options below.
- Set up an email forwarding rule to automatically forward lead source emails to the intake address.
- Configure your lead source settings to send its new lead notifications to the intake address.
How to View What Clients Have Been Created for a Source
Within the source’s profile, you can view the number of emails received at their address, the number of new clients created, date the last email was received and recent clients created for this source.
Note: There will be a slight delay between receiving a new client email and the client profile being created. Therefore, the Emails received number and Clients created number won't match immediately.
How to Edit or Delete a Source
You can edit or delete a source profile by clicking the pencil to edit or trash can icon to delete.
